I paid a visit to my local bonsai club yesterday to catch up with the latest news. The club meets one Sunday a month at Wattston Bonsai. Here are some pictures from the day.
Andy and Maurice brought along a nice little juniper, a cotoneaster, a yew and a nice seki hinoki shohin.

You don’t see many Sekka around, but they make superb trees ideal for shohin.
They are nice, Andy. I am going to ask Dougie if he will look out for a good one for me, when he is in Japan later this year
I can recommend them I have one I am working on for Nolanders
a smaller one doing well and half a dozen 4 year old cuttings that still just look like cuttings.
Sound great Andy, are you planing to put it into Noelanders next year
Yes if it and a couple of others behave themselves.
Excellent, might meet up with you there, if your travelling with them
Noelanders? Looking forward to seeing you there!
Hi Makisada
I look forward to meeting you too. I am not sure if I will have any trees on show but I will be there with the club
